Terms of Service

kardfolio is an informational service that helps you:

• Track credit card benefits and expiration dates
• Organize your card portfolio by cardholder profile
• Receive notifications about benefit resets and expirations

Important: kardfolio is for informational purposes only and does not provide financial, investment, or credit advice. Always verify information with your card issuers and consult qualified professionals for financial decisions.

kardfolio is designed primarily for tracking credit cards and benefits offered in the United States. Availability in another country or region does not mean that kardfolio supports cards, issuers, benefits, laws, or financial products specific to that location.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use kardfolio
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• One person may not maintain more than one account

You agree to use kardfolio only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Access or attempt to access other users’ accounts or data
• Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to access the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise system security
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code

You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide to kardfolio. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of credit card benefit information, as terms can change without notice from card issuers.

Always verify benefit details, expiration dates, and spending requirements directly with your credit card companies before making financial decisions.

kardfolio has two plans. Free keeps up to 3 cards and one cardholder profile. Pro, a paid subscription, removes those limits and adds the features listed on our Pricing page. Every price and the terms of any trial are shown before you are charged.

How you pay

• On the web, and in the iOS app on the United States App Store, Pro is sold through Stripe, our payment provider. Prices are in US dollars.
• In the iOS app on other App Store storefronts, Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Apple charges your Apple ID at the price shown for your country, and Apple’s terms also apply to that purchase.
• We never receive or store your full payment card number.

Renewal and free trials

• Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, at the then-current price of your plan, until you cancel.
• An annual plan may start with a free trial for accounts that have not had Pro before. The length of the trial and the price charged when it ends are shown before you start it. You are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. On the App Store, Apple decides whether your Apple ID is eligible for a trial.
• If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you before the new price applies to your subscription.

Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel at any time. For a web subscription, use Settings, then Membership, then Manage subscription. For an App Store subscription, use your Apple ID’s subscription settings on your device.
• When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable and we do not refund partial periods. For a web subscription, if you were charged for a renewal you did not mean to keep, contact us at support@kardfolio.app within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• If a payment fails, Pro may stay active while the payment is retried. If the payment is not resolved, the subscription ends.

When Pro ends

You keep every card, profile, reminder and record in your account. Your 3 oldest active cards stay editable, and the others become read-only until Pro returns. You can still remove or close any card. Default reminders keep arriving; Pro features such as custom reminder timing, annual fee reviews and fee-close reminders pause.

We may offer Pro at no charge for a limited time or as part of a promotion, and the terms of that offer will say how long it lasts.

The kardfolio service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Marcbex LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.

You retain ownership of the data you input into kardfolio. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the service.

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time, with or without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@kardfolio.app and asking us to delete it. Account deletion removes your active kardfolio account and data and initiates applicable provider cleanup, including cancelling a Pro subscription billed through Stripe. A subscription bought through the App Store must be cancelled in your Apple ID’s subscription settings, because only Apple can cancel it. Certain limited records may remain as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States. Any dispute may be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Washington, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Marcbex LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Marcbex LLC regarding your use of kardfolio.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision in the future.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. Marcbex LLC may assign its rights to any affiliate or successor.
